On the 20th of November 2019 the Convention on the Rights of the Child celebrated its 30th anniversary.
The Convention highlights the fact that children are subjects of rights with their own views and ideas. They are not owned by anyone (not even by their parents) and they should not be treated as objects of someone’s love, joy, misery, expectations, frustration or anger. Children’s presence, opinions and actions deserve undoubtedly adults’ full and sincere attention.
