Training on children’s rights
Training on children’s rights
The Committee on the Rights of the Child, the body of independent experts that monitors the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by its State parties (Greece is one of them), has expressed its concern at the lack of training for professionals working for or with children, including educators, social workers, law enforcement officials, health-care personnel, professionals working in all forms of alternative care, in Greece.
Understanding children’s rights helps all those professionals to offer their services to children in a meaningful way and facilitates their work, as it provides them with important and useful information about children.
Identifying this deficiency, Kirki designs, develops and delivers niche training on children’s rights for those professionals, in order to further enable them to successfully respond to the challenges of their activities.
